After a crash
If Courtside closes while you're coding, a power cut or a crash, you lose nothing you'd already added.
What's kept
Every change is saved to the season file before the screen shows it: each code you add, each modify, lineup and setting. The last code you saw in the log is in the file.
What isn't kept:
- Text still on the command line, not yet added with Enter.
- Redo. You can still undo after a restart, but what you'd undone can't be redone.
- Clips' filter, Checked ticks and Whole rallies.
Pick up where you were
- Open Courtside again. It reopens the same season and match by itself.
- Look at the last rally in the code log. Retype anything that was still on the command line.
- If you had the video open, click Open it in the video panel. The match remembers the file.
If Courtside opens on the start screen instead, it couldn't open the season, usually because the file was moved, renamed or is on a drive that isn't connected. Click Open season and pick the file where it is now.
Keep a copy
A season is one file. Copy it somewhere safe from time to time, with Courtside closed. To keep a match on its own, export it as a .dvw.
